Small Hive Beetle: what to know
Beetle Blaster traps fit between frames and use mineral oil or vegetable oil to trap beetles that fall in. Diatomaceous earth around the hive entrance damages the beetle's exoskeleton. A strong colony is the best defence -- beetles struggle to establish in a populous hive. Keep the entrance small in summer.
